Getting
here.
Orcas is an island — so plan your crossing ahead, especially on a festival weekend.
By ferry
Washington State Ferries run to Orcas. Check schedules and plan your sailing at WSDOT Ferries.
By air
San Juan Airlines and Kenmore Air fly into Eastsound from Bellingham and Seattle.
On island
Bring a car on the ferry, catch a taxi or shuttle, or book a rental vehicle.

What’s included with a ticket?
General admission includes admission, a 5oz tasting glass and 5 taste tokens. More tokens are available for purchase day of.
Is it 21+?
Yes. Hops on the Rock is a 21+ event, so bring valid ID.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, no dogs.
What if it rains?
We’re outdoors, but under a big tent with plenty of covered space and heaters.
Are there designated driver tickets?
Yes — discounted designated driver tickets are available. Please drink responsibly.
Is there food?
Yes. Food package tickets are available, and Poutine Your Mouth Food Truck and Woody’s Taphouse served in 2026.
When is Hops on the Rock 2027?
November 2027 — the 10th annual fest. The exact date is coming soon; join the newsletter to hear when it’s announced.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
In 2026, entry at the door was $60, if any tickets were left. This will be a sold-out event, so we recommend buying ahead.
Who benefits?
The festival started to bring commerce to Orcas Island businesses before winter sets in. The main beneficiary is the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce.
Who are the founding members?
Island Market, the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce, Lower Tavern, Island Life on Orcas, Ray’s General Store and Pharmacy, and Smoke Stack Services.
